Cheri Swain Cheri has worked at Carmen! Carmen! Salon e' Spa for the last 19 of her 22 years as a stylist. Cheri has served as an Artistic Director for 10 years and has been an integral part of the training of every stylist who has come to work for Carmen. She has received additional training at Aveda's London Advanced Academy.  She enjoys training new stylists and doing platform and editorial work in addition to her daily duties as a stylist.

Donald Case Donald came to work at Carmen! Carmen! Salon e' Spa ten years ago and has served as Artistic Director since 2001. Donald continues to further his education by continually taking courses offered by Aveda through Neill Corporation.  A few notable classes include Advanced Cutting with Aveda, In-Salon Coach training, Seeds of Preparation, Advanced cutting with Sonja and David Dove with Wella and Advanced Cutting with Anttoinette Beenders.

Kelly McCarty Kelly has served as Director of Hair Color Education for Carmen!Carmen! e' Spa for the past 10 years. She began her role a a Purefessional traveling the United States and Canada teaching Aveda's Hair Color classes in 2002. She has been involved with the 2002 Aveda Congress and teaches Portfolio Collection, Art of Placement and Color Magic to name a few. She has had the privelege of assisting Global Masters such as Antoinette Bendeers, David Adams and her own boss Carmen Cutrona.  A highlight in her Purefessional career was her debut as a guest presenter for Master Jam On The Road in Dallas, TX in 2004. Since then she has presented her work in various shows such as Eve in Miami, FL in 2006. Her work can often be seen in trade publications such as Passion, Modern Salon and various newstand magazines. "To be a good teacher, you must always be a student. I am constantly studying and learning. Education never ends." Kelly is a firm believer in Aveda's core beliefs and holistic philosophies. She has been an ardent promoter of Aveda Hair Color since its debut. Her enthusiasm for the Aveda lifestyle is contagious and evident in everything she does!

Dena Locklear  Dena was raised in Lumberton, NC where she attended Robeson Community College and received her Master in Cosmetology degree. She has been a licensed stylist for more than 15 years. Dena has been employed with Carmen!Carmen! Salon e' Spa for 9 years. During her tenure, Dena has attended Aveda Certified courses specifically designed to further develop her teaching and instructional capabilities. She is active with hands-on classes for Aveda's Cut and Color Collections which are released every Fall and Spring. She brings these new trends and techniques back to educate others in her salon. Dena is also in rotation to instruct cutting classes for our Young Artist training program. She has served as in In-Salon Coach for the past 4 years and has been a member of the Carmen!Carmen! Artistic Team for the last 2 years.
